Just got a press release for the new “MOTOROLA ATRIX™ HD LTE superphone” - caps and trademarks theirs, not mine – which includes this glaring mistake on a list of the phone’s features:
Latest version of Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich
Of course, Ice Cream Sandwich is not the latest version of Android. That honour goes to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean, a significant improvement over ICS. Now if the people paid to market the Atrix can’t keep track of operating systems, how can consumers be expected to do so? At least they’re not Sony, still releasing Xperia phones with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on them, an OS which dates back to December of 2010.
