Want to know who’ll be Romney’s VP pick? Look to Wikipedia edits

Micah L. Sifry at TechPresident has a very interesting hypothesis: That you can predict who’ll be the Republican VP pick by looking at how many Wikipedia edits contenders for the job are getting:

The Romney campaign wants you to download its mobile app to be among the first to find out who Mitt is going to pick as his running mate, but if past history is any guide, you might want to instead be looking at Wikipedia — and whether any of the leading contenders’ entries are being suddenly brushed up.

Fully recommended read. As Sifry points out, Sarah Palin had the most edits in the run up to her nomination by John McCain in 2008.
