…we have the best tablet at any price. Last year, we wanted to build the best tablet at a certain price. And, this year, we wanted to build the best tablet at any price. Take away the price and it’s still the best tablet. It also happens to be only $499.
Can a tablet only sold in one country really be called the best one in the world?
The Kindle Fire HD looks incredible. Many are saying that this is Amazon going after Apple. But for that to be true, Amazon needs to start selling the Kindle Fire world-wide, an impossible task as the tablet is tied to Amazon’s still US-centric services. Until then, the Fire remains a great tablet for Amazon customers, but not a serious platform in the post-PC world.
