The Verge reports on Microsoft’s plans to open 32 pop-up stores this fall:
Holiday 2012 is shaping up to be of huge importance to Microsoft with flagship launches in both hardware and software. Its much-anticipated Surface tablet will debut October 26th to coincide with the release of Windows 8. And though we still haven’t heard an official date, we fully expect the company to get Windows Phone 8 devices on the market at some point this fall to capitalize on the holiday shopping season.
More proof that the next six months is make it or break for Microsoft’s post-PC plans.
