Google worth more than Microsoft

It was one more sign that the technology industry had entered what some call a post-PC era. Investors are becoming more bullish on the growth opportunities ahead for Google, a company whose fortunes are predicated on the Internet and, increasingly, on mobile devices and services.

Google learned from Microsoft’s mistakes. The company has never shied away from risks or putting resources into new things, and that’s how they’ve gone from search company to Internet giant. 30 years later and it seems like Microsoft can still be defined by Windows and Office.
