The Post PC reflects the technology and trends shaping our world. In June of 2010 Steve Jobs proclaimed that we were at the beginning of the post-PC era, where iPhones and iPads will supplant the clunky desktop and even the more svelte laptop as our primary computing devices. This site will place emphasis on where technology and media is heading, not where it’s been.
The Post PC is written by Elias Makos, technology journalist and analyst based in Montreal, Canada. He is the New Media Producer and Commentator for City Television in Montreal. Elias has covered technology on television and radio for over six years, appearing locally on CTV Montreal and CBC Radio One as a technology columnist, and nationally across Canada as a regular contributor to CTV News Channel’s Express and a syndicated guest on CBC Radio.
